A vehicle may operate without a driver and still belong to a fragile, poorly coordinated system that depends on human decisions. This project uses a digital twin to study four less visible dimensions of mining autonomy — model validity, information latency, interoperability, and the distribution of control among people, centralised systems, and decentralised agents.
