Heterogeneous Autonomous Communication

Digital-twin experiment measuring the production value of interoperability when an autonomous haul fleet shares the mine with other manufacturers' equipment and manually driven vehicles.

Project: Real Autonomy in Mining — Digital-Twin Experiments

Notebook 2 of the Real Autonomy in Autonomous Haulage series. Compares no communication, partial coverage, and full interoperability between the autonomous fleet and heterogeneous external agents (other-manufacturer trucks, manual vehicles, support equipment), isolating how much of the production gain comes from road-level coordination versus a truck–shovel handshake, and how the benefit scales with external-traffic density. Site and operator names are anonymized.
